Base Performance Co: Shopify Case Study
Base Performance Co describes itself as an Australian brand "founded in Australia in 2024" that makes unisex products for "workouts to your weekend activities": relaxed tees, hoodies and sweaters, caps and water bottles. We designed and developed its Shopify store, and the store footer carries our credit.
The Challenge
A young apparel brand sells on fit and fabric, which a shopper cannot touch online. The store has to show each product clearly, answer sizing questions on the product page and make returns easy to start, while taking orders from outside Australia too.
Our Approach
- •Built on Shopify's Dawn theme, with the menu split into the brand's four product types.
- •Product pages carry size options, a size chart, fit notes (for example "sizing up for an oversized look") and customer reviews.
- •A country and currency selector lets visitors outside Australia see prices in their own currency.
- •The footer holds the returns link, shipping and return policies, an email sign-up and the brand's one-line story.
