This policy explains what personal information the Digitalis Global website (www.digitalisglobal.com) collects, why, where it is kept and who can see it. It describes what the website and the services behind it do today. “Digitalis Global”, “we” and “us” mean Digitalis Global, which runs this website.

The short version

  • You can read this website without giving us your name or email address.
  • We collect your name, contact details and messages only when you fill in a form: the contact form, a request for project details, the newsletter sign-up or a job application.
  • We use it to reply to you, to send what you asked for and to consider job applications. We do not sell it, and we do not give it to anyone for their own marketing.
  • The website uses Google Analytics to understand how it is used. Google Analytics sets cookies, and we send it no names, email addresses, phone numbers or messages.

What we collect, and when

Contact form

Your name, email address and message, plus your phone number, a subject and the service you are interested in if you give them. If you ask for a free website audit, we also collect the address of the website you want audited. We record whether you have confirmed your email address through the link we email you.

Requests for project details

On our project pages you can ask for more detail about a project. We collect your name, email address and phone number, the project you asked about and any note you add.

Newsletter sign-up

Your email address only.

Job applications

Your first and last name, your email address and the job you are applying for, plus your phone number, a cover letter and your CV if you provide them. CVs can be PDF, DOC or DOCX files of up to 4 MB.

Every form

Each form also sends the time it was loaded and a hidden field that people never see. Both help us filter out automated spam. To limit repeated submissions, we store a record of each submission that contains the type of form, the time and a one-way code (a hash) made from your IP address and the email address you entered. That record does not contain the IP address or the email address itself.

What happens when you send a form

  • Contact form and project details. Your details are saved in our database and emailed to our team inbox, with your email address as the reply address. We also email you a link to confirm that the address is yours and, once your request has gone through, an acknowledgement.
  • Newsletter. We email you a link to confirm your subscription. Your address is added to our subscriber list only after you click it. We use the list only for occasional notes on web, Shopify and search.
  • Job applications. Your application is saved in our database and emailed to our team inbox, with your CV attached if you included one. The CV file is also kept in private storage that is not publicly accessible. We do not send you an email to confirm an application.

Why we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and, if you ask, to scope and quote your project.
  • To send the project details you asked for, or the notes you subscribed to.
  • To consider your job application and contact you about it.
  • To keep spam and abuse out of the forms.
  • To understand, in aggregate, how people use the website.

Who can see it

People on our team who handle enquiries, applications and projects can read what you send, in our team inbox and in the website's admin area. Our database's access rules let only signed-in team accounts that are listed as website administrators read submissions, applications and CVs. The service providers below store or carry your information so that the website works. We do not sell your information, and we do not give it to anyone else for their own marketing.

Service providers and where your information is processed

Digitalis Global works with businesses across Australia, with team members in Sydney and Newcastle NSW. Our developers and designers work from our development headquarters in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. Team members in Australia and in Pakistan may read what you send us. The services that run the website also process it outside Australia:

  • Vercel hosts the website. Like any web host, it receives your IP address and browser details when it serves you a page. The server code that receives form submissions runs in Vercel's United States region.
  • Supabase holds our database and file storage, including form submissions and CVs, in its India region (Mumbai).
  • Resend sends the website's emails from its Japan region (Tokyo). Open and click tracking are switched off, so the emails we send do not record whether you open them or click a link.
  • Google provides Google Analytics and processes that data on its own systems, which may be outside Australia. If our home page shows reviews from Google Maps, your browser loads the reviewers' names and profile photos directly from Google, so Google receives your IP address and browser details; we send it nothing else.

Some pages also load small icon images directly from jsDelivr, Simple Icons and GitHub. When your browser fetches them, those services receive your IP address and browser details, as they would from any website; we send them nothing else. The hosting, database and email regions above were checked on 26 September 2026.

Google Analytics and cookies

Google Analytics 4 runs only on the live website. It does not run on local or preview copies of the site or in the admin area. It records the pages you visit and how you use them, with information about your browser and device. We also record a few events of our own, such as a form being sent or a phone number link being clicked, with the form or the part of the page involved. These events carry no names, email addresses, phone numbers or message contents.

Google Analytics sets two cookies in your browser, _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID. Google uses them to tell visitors apart and to keep track of a visit, and by default they last two years. Google states that Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. Apart from these cookies, the public pages of this website do not set cookies or store anything in your browser, and the site carries no advertising or retargeting tags such as the Meta Pixel.

To stop Google Analytics, block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The website works the same either way.

How long we keep it

We have not set an automatic deletion period for enquiries, project detail requests, newsletter addresses or job applications. They stay in our database and team inbox until we delete them, and you can ask us to delete yours at any time (see below). The anti-spam records described above are deleted automatically some time after they are two days old.

How we protect it

The website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, so what you type into a form is encrypted on its way to us. Only signed-in administrator accounts can read submissions in our database, and CVs are kept in private storage. No system is completely secure, so please do not send passwords, payment card numbers or other sensitive details through the forms.

Your choices

  • You can use the website without filling in any form.
  • To ask what information we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, email info@digitalisglobal.com from the address you used.
  • To leave the newsletter list, email info@digitalisglobal.com and we will remove your address.
  • To stop Google Analytics, use the opt-out described above.

Changes to this policy

We update this page when the way the website handles personal information changes, and we change the date at the top when we do.
