Pricing: how we scope and quote

There is no price list. We scope your project on a free call, then send a written proposal with the scope, a fixed price, the timeline and what is not included. Scope and price are fixed before work starts.

How quoting works

  1. Step 1

    Tell us what you need

Send the contact form or call us. We reply within 24 hours, and scoping calls run in Australian business hours.

  2. Step 2

    A free scoping call

We go through your goals, the pages or features you need, the systems it has to connect to, who supplies the content and when you need it live. These are the questions that decide the price.

  3. Step 3

A written proposal with a fixed price

You receive the scope, a fixed price, the timeline and the exclusions in writing. Nothing starts until you accept it, and before work begins we sign an NDA and a service agreement with you.

What a proposal contains

Scope
What we will build or run, listed item by item: pages, features, integrations, campaigns or deliverables, so you can check the finished work against it.
Fixed price
One price for that scope. If you later ask for something the proposal does not list, we quote it separately and start it only once you agree.
Timeline
The stages of the work and when each one is due.
Exclusions
What the price does not cover, written down so nothing comes as a surprise. For ads management, for example, your ad spend is paid separately from our management fee.

Custom Web Development

Marketing and corporate websites, and custom web applications.

What moves the price

  • How many page templates and custom features you need
  • Integrations with other systems, such as a CRM, a booking tool or a payment provider
  • Whether you need a CMS or admin panel to edit content yourself
  • Who writes the copy and supplies the images
  • Moving content across from an existing website

Questions about pricing

Why don't you list prices?

Because the price depends on the scope, and two projects with the same name rarely have the same scope. A small brochure website and a website with bookings, a CRM connection and a product catalogue are both called a website. We scope the work on a free call and send a fixed proposal with scope, price, timeline and exclusions, so the number you see is the number for your project.

Is the scoping call free?

Yes. The call and the proposal cost nothing, and you decide afterwards whether to go ahead.

Can the price change after I accept the proposal?

Not for the agreed scope. The fixed price covers everything the proposal lists. Anything outside it is quoted separately and starts only once you agree to it.

What happens after launch?

Web and app projects include a 30-day post-launch bug-fix guarantee at no extra cost. Ownership of the source code, design files and creative assets passes to you on completion and final payment. After that, maintenance, SEO and ads management run as monthly retainers, each scoped and quoted the same way.
