Digitalis Global

Custom Web Development for Sydney Businesses

Digitalis Global designs and builds websites and web applications for Sydney and Australian businesses: WordPress for content-led sites, and React, Next.js and Node.js for custom work. We have built 300+ websites, and the scope and price of yours are fixed before work starts.

Target outcome

A site your team can update, with tracking and a technical SEO foundation in place at launch

The challenge

Your website should bring in work, not create it

Pages that load slowly, break on phones or cannot be edited without a developer cost you enquiries and staff time. A template can look fine at launch, then struggle once you add integrations, content and traffic.

01

Visitors leave before the page, or the offer, has loaded

02

Every text change waits for a developer

03

SEO and speed fixes keep moving to "phase two"

Who it's for

Who our web development service is for

We build two kinds of project: marketing and company websites, and custom web applications. Here is who each suits, and who would be better served elsewhere.

A good fit if

  • You need a company or marketing website that brings in enquiries and that your team can edit through a CMS
  • You need a custom web application, such as a customer portal, an internal dashboard or a booking or quoting tool, built around how your business works
  • Your current site is slow, hard to update or built on code nobody wants to maintain
  • The site has to connect to other systems: a CRM, a booking tool, a payment provider or your own database
  • You want analytics, conversion tracking and a technical SEO foundation in place at launch, not added later
  • You want the scope, price and timeline fixed before any work starts

Not the right fit if

  • You sell products online: our Shopify and WooCommerce e-commerce service is the better fit
  • You want a simple page live this week on a site builder you already pay for: doing it yourself will cost less
  • You need design only, with no build: our UI/UX product design service covers that
  • You want a guaranteed number of leads or rankings: we fix the scope, price and timeline, not results that depend on your market
From the dev team

Custom builds, written in code

Websites and web apps built in a framework rather than assembled from a template. Each one opens its project page or the live site.

What we deliver

Capabilities built for real business outcomes

Not generic packages. Every engagement is scoped around what actually moves the needle for your brand.

01

Company and marketing websites

Websites that explain what you do and turn visitors into enquiries, built on WordPress or a headless CMS so your team can edit pages, posts and images without a developer. Page titles, structured data and redirects from your old site are set up during the build, not after it.

  • WordPress or headless CMS
  • Landing page templates
  • Enquiry and booking forms
02

Custom web applications

Customer portals, internal dashboards and booking or quoting tools built on React, Next.js and Node.js, with the database and user access rules your workflow needs. A technical specification is written and agreed before the build, so the scope stays fixed.

  • API-first architecture
  • Role-based access
  • Real-time data sync
03

Speed, security and hosting

Every site ships over HTTPS with backups and caching configured, and we test each page template with Google Lighthouse before launch. We set up hosting on Vercel, AWS or managed WordPress hosting, and either manage it for you or hand it over with documentation.

  • HTTPS and security hardening
  • CDN and caching
  • Automated backups
What the dev team builds

From a fast business site to a full web app

The same team designs the screens, writes the code and connects the services behind them, so nothing is lost between hand-offs.

  • Websites written in code

Business sites built in a framework such as Next.js, not assembled from a page builder.

    Aaitek: Next.js front end

  • Content your team can edit

A headless CMS or admin panel, so staff update pages and listings without a developer.

    Aaitek: Strapi content backend

  • Web apps and portals

Logins, roles and workflows for customers, staff or partners, in the browser on any device.

    Predelivery.ai: inspection platform

  • Payments and subscriptions

Checkout, recurring plans and receipts through Stripe, tied to the rest of the site.

Blake Mott: Stripe live, April 2026

  • Directories and search

Listings with filters and search, and sign-up for the people or businesses being listed.

    Tasmanian Mental Health Directory

  • Reports and documents

PDFs and records generated from the data your app collects, ready to send or file.

    Predelivery.ai: PDF inspection reports

  • AI and third-party services

Image recognition, email delivery, databases and other APIs wired into one product.

    Predelivery.ai: AI damage detection

  • Dashboards and reporting

Live views of the numbers a business runs on, pulled from the platforms that hold them.

    Our own client reporting dashboard

Builds we shipped

How it works

From brief to launch, with zero guesswork

A structured process with clear milestones, so you always know what's happening and what's next.

01

Discovery and fixed proposal

We map your goals, your users, your content and the systems the site must connect to, then send a proposal with the scope, price, timeline and exclusions. You: explain how enquiries reach you today, share access to your current site and analytics, and approve the proposal.

02

Structure and design

A sitemap, wireframes and page designs for mobile and desktop, plus a technical specification for web applications. You: supply your content and brand files, review the designs and sign them off before the build starts.

03

Build with staging previews

We build in stages and share each one on a staging preview, with regular updates by email or Slack. You: review each preview and send your feedback, so changes land before launch rather than after.

04

Launch and handover

We move the site live, switch on analytics, conversion tracking and redirects from old URLs, and hand over documentation and CMS training. The 30-day bug-fix guarantee starts on launch day. You: check the live site and tell us about anything that does not work as agreed.

What's included

Everything in the box

Every build ships with the same core set, and your proposal names the CMS, integrations and anything else specific to your project.

11 deliverables in 3 stages, all named in your proposal

  1. 01Design and build

    The site itself

Planned, designed and built from approved designs, with the editing tools your team needs.

    • Sitemap, wireframes and page designs for mobile and desktop
    • Responsive, cross-browser front end built from the approved designs
    • CMS or admin panel, where the scope needs one
    • Enquiry, contact or booking forms delivered to your inbox or CRM
  2. 02Connect and measure

    Wired into your business

Connected to the systems you already use, and measurable from the first visit.

    • Integrations with the third-party systems named in the proposal
    • Analytics and conversion tracking
    • Technical SEO foundation: page titles, meta descriptions, structured data, XML sitemap and redirects
  3. 03Launch and hand over

    Live, documented and yours

Secure hosting, training for your team, a bug-fix guarantee, and the code in your name.

    • HTTPS, backups and hosting setup
    • Documentation and CMS training for your team
    • 30-day post-launch bug-fix guarantee
    • Transfer of IP, source code and design files on completion and final payment
Ongoing partnership

After launch: the 30-day guarantee, then optional care

For 30 days from launch we fix bugs in the work we delivered at no extra cost, meaning anything in the agreed scope that does not work as agreed. New features and content changes are not bugs; we quote them separately. When you message our team you get a reply within 24 hours; that is a reply time, not a promise that every fix is finished within a day. After the 30 days you can keep us on a monthly care retainer for security updates, performance monitoring, content changes and technical support, or run the site yourself with the documentation.

How we work, who leads your build, and how we quote

Digitalis Global works with businesses across Australia, with team members in Sydney and Newcastle NSW. Our developers and designers work from our development headquarters in Rawalpindi, Pakistan, and scoping and calls run in Australian business hours. We work remotely and have no walk-in office. Scope and price are fixed before work starts, and every build carries a 30-day bug-fix guarantee and a 24-hour response commitment.

Web development projects are led by Ameer Hamza, our Website Development Team Lead.

How we quote: we scope the project on a free call, then send a fixed proposal listing the scope, price, timeline and exclusions. The price moves with the number of page templates, the content and data moving from your old site, the integrations, and the custom features; for web applications, with the number of user roles and screens as well. There is no price list, because two websites with the same name rarely have the same scope.

FAQ

Questions we hear most

Straight answers. If yours isn't here, book a call and we'll walk through it together.

Ask us anything →
How long does a website take to build?

It depends on the scope: a marketing website usually takes weeks, and a custom web application takes longer because of integrations and testing. The proposal gives a fixed timeline once the scope is agreed, and states what we need from you, and when, to keep to it.

WordPress or a custom Next.js build: which is right for us?

Choose WordPress for a content-led site your team edits often, and a custom React and Next.js build for applications or sites with logic a CMS handles badly. We recommend one on the discovery call, based on who will edit the site and what it has to do.

Can my team update the website without a developer?

Yes for content, as long as the site has a CMS, which we recommend for any site your team will edit. Pages, posts and images can then be changed without us, and we train your team to do it. Changes to layout or features still need development work.

Can you rebuild our site without losing our Google rankings?

We protect them as far as a rebuild allows: every old URL with traffic or links gets a permanent redirect to its new page, and the titles, headings and content that rank are carried across. Google says rankings can fluctuate while it recrawls a changed site, so we check Search Console after launch and fix any errors it reports.

Do you promise a page speed score?

No. We test each page template with Google Lighthouse before launch and fix what it flags, but third-party scripts, hosting and the images added after launch all change the score, so a promise would not mean much. Google’s Core Web Vitals measure loading, responsiveness and visual stability, and we design and build with all three in mind.

Do you host the website, or do we?

Either. We set up hosting on Vercel, AWS or managed WordPress hosting and can manage it for you, or hand it over with documentation so the hosting account sits with you.

Do you build web applications as well as websites?

Yes. Customer portals, internal dashboards and booking or quoting tools are built on React, Next.js and Node.js, with a database such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB or Supabase chosen to suit the workflow.

Will the site work with our CRM, booking or payment system?

In most cases, yes: we connect sites to CRMs, booking tools, payment providers and custom databases through their APIs. We confirm each connection during discovery, because a system without a usable API changes the scope.

Will the website be accessible to people with disabilities?

We build with accessibility in the brief: a logical heading order, keyboard navigation, text alternatives for images and readable colour contrast. If you need a formal WCAG conformance level, for example as an NDIS or government-funded service, tell us at scoping so it is written into the scope.

What do you need from us before the build starts?

Your goals for the site, a few sites you like, access to your current site, domain and analytics, and your content and brand files. We agree during scoping who supplies each page’s content, so nothing waits on it later.
