Coastal Robotic Mowers: WordPress Case Study
Coastal Robotic Mowers sells robotic lawn mowers and landscaping tools. It serves the Central Coast and Lower Hunter region, in its own words "specialising in the innovative Kress Robotic Mowers". (Our portfolio lists the project as Coastal Robotic Movers.) We built its WordPress site with an online shop, categories for robot mowers, commercial equipment and landscaping tools, and a page on the satellite-guided mowers.
The Challenge
Satellite-guided robot mowers that need no boundary wire take some explaining, and the range runs from home models to commercial kits and hand tools. The site had to explain the technology, sell the products online, and still offer buyers who want advice a way to book a visit before they choose.
Our Approach
- •Ran the online shop on WordPress: product grids with prices and Add to Cart buttons, a cart, search, and category pages for robot mowers, commercial equipment and landscaping tools.
- •Led the homepage with the satellite-guided mower, a "See the film" video button and a section on mowing without a boundary wire that links to a page about the RTK technology.
- •Embedded a product video at the top of each category page, so buyers see the equipment working before they compare models.
- •Added a Call Us button to the header and a "Book your free visit" prompt in the About section for buyers who want advice first.
The Results
- ✓The portfolio mockup records the finished shop, category videos and technology section across desktop and phone screens.
- ✓We have no confirmed count of online sales or visit bookings made through the site, so this page claims no results.
