Kare Foundation: WordPress Case Study
Kare Foundation describes itself as "a voice of hope to the marginalized in society". It is a registered charity in Australia and Kenya, founded in 2020 to celebrate the life of Kare, and its programmes cover education scholarships, medical aid, outreach, resettlement, guidance and counselling, and training. We built its WordPress site to explain that work and make giving simple.
The Challenge
A charity working in two countries has to show supporters where their help goes. The site needed to present six programmes, the people they reach and the volunteers behind them, share news, and keep a way to donate one click away on every page.
Our Approach
- •Built a WordPress menu for Who We Are, What We Do, Beneficiaries, Media and Contact, with a Donate button that stays in the header.
- •Set out the six programmes on the homepage as a grid under the heading What We Do, each with its own icon.
- •Added pages for beneficiaries and for the team of volunteers, each person with a photo and a short profile.
- •Built a Latest News section, a testimonials page, and a homepage block that names the two countries the charity works in with its donors and partners.
The Results
- ✓The finished programme grid, beneficiary and volunteer pages, news and Donate buttons are recorded in our mockups at desktop and phone sizes.
- ✓Donation totals and visitor numbers for the site are not on record, and this page does not estimate them.

- Supporters can give from any page through the Donate button.
- All six programmes are visible on the homepage.
- Beneficiaries and volunteers have pages of their own.
- Latest News keeps supporters informed about the work in both countries.
