Audiophile: Shopify Case Study
Audiophile Shop sells hi-fi equipment online: in-ear monitors and headphones, amplifiers, DACs and streamers, cables and DIY audio parts. Its site title reads "Hi-fi Necessities for an Audiophile", and its footer gives an address in Hallam, Victoria. We designed and developed the Shopify store, and its footer names Digitalis Global.
The Challenge
The catalogue is deep and technical: one shopper may want an R2R DAC, a tube amplifier or a replacement cable, and each category splits again by type. The store had to let buyers narrow the range by category or by brand, and look after them after the sale with warranty returns and order tracking.
Our Approach
- •Gave the Shopify catalogue two ways in: a Shop By Category mega menu that splits headphones, amplifiers, DACs and digital sources, and cables into their sub-types, and a Shop By Brand menu.
- •Put search, a wishlist, customer accounts and an AUD currency selector in the header, and a free-shipping message in the announcement bar.
- •Filled the homepage with product rows for featured items, new arrivals and sale and clearance stock, with a rating and price on each product card.
- •Linked after-sale help from the footer: a rewards guide, package tracking, a warranty return portal and the store policies, plus a newsletter sign-up.
The Results
- ✓The store is online today at audiophileshop.com.au, and its footer reads "Designed & Developed by Digitalis Global" (seen on 27 September 2026).
- ✓No sales or traffic figure for this store has been confirmed for publication with a value, a period, a source and a date, so this page does not claim any.
Client benefits
- Buyers can browse by product type or by brand.
- A wishlist and customer accounts let shoppers come back to a shortlist.
- Warranty returns and package tracking are linked from every page.
- Free shipping within Australia is stated in the announcement bar.
